Hi! My name is Becca, and I’m from New York. I decided to join Aardvark Israel because I wanted to experience living in Israel and take advantage of the many opportunities the program offers. After October 7th, and in light of the anti-Semitism my friends and I encountered on campus, I felt a strong pull to come here—to see the people and places firsthand and reconnect with my Judaism.
This semester, I’m interning at Clayla TLV. The staff here are incredibly welcoming, and I’m having a great time. I’ve always loved art, so it’s amazing to see people’s creativity come to life. Plus, I get to practice my Hebrew and interact with Israelis every day.
Fun fact: I have four cats!
