Hi my name is Talia and I’m from Massachusetts.
I chose Aardvark because of the opportunities it has to offer. I spent 3 semesters in Israel during high school and then started college this past fall at Virginia Tech University. I loved college but after October 7, I did not feel safe or at home. I felt like I was all alone and I longed to be in Israel. Aardvark has given me the opportunity to meet others who have the same passion and love for Israel.
My internship through Aardvark at The Center for Jewish Impact has been an amazing experience and has confirmed that I want to pursue a career in Jewish and Israel advocacy. I am going to miss my internship, our weekly trips and the life long friends that I have made. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity through Aardvark to live, work and play in Tel Aviv this semester!
Fun fact: I have been skiing since before I could walk
