Your Head-Start in the Start-Up Nation
An intensive educational and practical program including enrichment activities, workshops, seminars, guest speakers, and field trips all about “The Start-Up Nation.”
Dive headfirst into the exciting and energetic world of Israeli innovation. Learn the ins and outs of what it takes to start a business, run a business, and succeed in the business world. Throughout the semester, students will develop a practical business program under the guidance of a business consultant. You will come up with a business plan, pitch an idea, set milestones, raise money, and put on an event (similar to an episode of “The Apprentice”). You will also develop important skills and learn about topics such as communication, negotiation, marketing, and more. Meeting leaders and entrepreneurs in Israel will also give you an insider’s perspective into the world of business in Israel.
Sample Activities:
- Practical Business Project - work with a business consultant to develop a business plan, pitch an idea, set milestones, raise money, and put on an event
- Site Visits and Meetings at Google Israel and Facebook Israel
- Seminar on Women in Hi-Tech and Leadership
- Visit and learn about the Israel Wine Industry
- The Israeli Economy and the Birth of Start-up Nation
- Diamond Exchange – A Staple in Israeli Trade Industry worldwide
