The summer is almost over, and do you know what that means? Yup, you guessed it—the Aardvark Israel programs are about to start!
These past few months have been incredibly busy, both for our dedicated staff and our Plus USA summer camp program!
Throughout the summer, some of our students worked as camp counselors for the NJY camps, enjoying a busy but rewarding experience.
“As part of Aardvark Israel summer experience I was given the opportunity to become a counselor in NJY Camps, Cedar Lake, Pennsylvania. It was certainly a drastic change from being a student in Israel to a counselor on camp but it came with so much surprising fun and welcomed challenges.This program was so diverse in what it offered and left no boring days with the action-packed schedule. Cedar Lake became my home away from home, I made bonds I know I will keep for life.

For some of our summer students, the adventure doesn’t end here. We’re thrilled to welcome them back to Israel for another semester of growth and discovery.
While our students were busy at summer camp, our staff worked hard to prepare for the upcoming semester at Aardvark Israel. We’ve welcomed new team members (Spoiler alert, they’re awesome!), fine-tuned our programming to ensure it’s top-notch, and made sure the apartments are ready for the arrival of about 100 students from 17 different countries!
We’re also over the moon to introduce our brand-new Culinary Track!
Picture this: the rich aroma of freshly baked pita, the sizzle of shakshuka in a hot pan… We can’t wait to see our students’ culinary creations come to life.
To our incoming students: Welcome to the Aardvark Israel family! You’re in for an incredible journey filled with friendship, adventure, and a deep connection to Israel. We can’t wait to meet you!
