British month

Shalom Parents!

British Month is well underway, and after six days of quarantine, the Brits finally were allowed out of their apartments to explore the city. We began our activities with a tour in Levinsky Market, in the Florentin neighborhood where the students live. We tasted some of the delicious food the market has to offer, including falafel, hummus, bourekas, sweet pastries, and other delicacies.

Last week, our students were being artsy, experiencing some new modern art exhibitions. This week, they went hiking on several trails – Mata, Hurbat Hanut, and Ein Tanur, near Jerusalem. We had so much fun!

In the coming weeks, before the rest of the students arrive, the Brits will tour Zichron Ya’akov and Jerusalem, volunteer, and visit the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation. Stay tuned!
