gap year in israel

I wanted to go on a gap year because I wanted to experience Israel as a local and immerse myself in Israeli culture. I have always wanted to strengthen my connection with Israel and a gap year was an amazing opportunity to do that as well as meet other Jews from all around the world.

I specifically chose Aardvark Israel because there is no other program like it. The combination of internships/volunteering, classes and Ulpan, programming, tiyulim, and free time made it a perfect program for me. As well, the fact that you spend a semester in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem allows for more of an opportunity to experience the culture and history of Israel.
