I chose to do a gap year here because my first experience in Israel opened my eyes to just how great our homeland is. Immediately after coming here, I felt so connected and when I left, I knew I would do my best to come back as soon as I could for as long as I could. A gap year here just felt like the best time in my life to get as much out of this beautiful country as I could. I chose Aardvark Israel because it allowed me to set up my future with college classes and an internship, as well as connect with Israel, live in the community, and see more of the country on Tuesday Tiyuls.
I’m interning at @Save a Child’s Heart, working with kids recovering from heart surgery.
